New products for Holden - GPS NAV Integration for current models .
Over last couple of years we've been focusing on CarPlay / Android Auto market, as those are the current trend and somewhat part of standard / criteria when you are buying a car.
However at the same time we've been also working on other parts, for Sat Nav retrofit for those cars came without one.
As the market proceeded with integration of smartphone, whilst the manufacturers still add NAV to their top of the trim models, lots of base models were excluded from NAV and came with CarPlay or Android Auto instead.
Which, in our opinion is the better option consider you are free from concerns about map update and accuracy of it, not to mention that quite lots of those Factory fitted NAVs have poor reputation of being 'useless'.
There are still lots of people prefer NAV over smartphone connection, because maybe they do not want to focus on phone while driving, or need one for work or travel, especially if you head out rural / non network covered area, which will basically make CarPlay / Android Auto potato.
Navigation upgrade involves with adding additional hardware device - aftermarket, of course - that somewhat 'piggybacks' into the existing MyLink infotainment system.
Just to make it clear - although there are lots of different variants within GM - Opel / Vauxhaul / Cadillac / Buick / Chevrolet etc, they still share same MyLink system.
Hence our products are most likely going to be compatible with pretty much every GM Vehicles, with bit of adjustment and update if required.
So far, we've added 5 new products in our inventory, hopefully will be able to offer it once this COVID crisis calms down within Australia - till then, hope you all stay safe.
